You must be from Canada or across the ocean? :)Remeron is another name for Mirtazapine and.... (Seroquel)..., they have dicontinued in Canada and Europe I have been told. The side effect I had from Lexapro....I got really more depressed and couldn't sleep, had no energy and no interest in sex at all. But give it a try,it didn't seem to be that hard to get off of. I have a terrible time with most drugs, I have tried Celexa, Prozac Zoloft and one other I can't remember. Good luck

what kind of "bad experience" did you have with lexapro? I've been trying several ssri's and have just started taking lexapro. I don't know the other two meds you mentioned.

Good Evening Red, The Depression Center has a medication glossary that may contain some information for you. You will find that there are many individuals who may be able to answer your questions within our support group. However, The Depression Center is not able to give any medical advice. Have you tried talking to a local pharmacist? Thanks for taking the time to post your concerns! Looking forward to hearing from you again soon! Take care, Melanie ___________________________________ The Depression Center Support Team

I'm new here and I am looking for information on different drugs. I have tried many and haven't had any luck with them. I have asthma and am allergic to many drugs. My last drug was Lexapro and that was a bad experience. My doctor wanted me to go for a month with out anything and then he mentioned several, one of which is Remeron, and the other is Seroquel, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either one. Thanks so much.
