rnbw1038, I like you love to work in my yard which consists of 4 acres and I have all kinds of flowers and water gardens and I did a lot of smoking when I would take a rest. I'm thinking of putting up a sign in every corner of my lawn that says: NO NICODEMON'S ALLOWED. But most of all I have to believe that I won't allow them into my conscious thinking. But I know that they will be there I will just have to work harder to control them. Thinking of you and Blessings are sent your way!!! :) SUNSHINE My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/7/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 82 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,403 Amount Saved: $287 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 20 Mins: 55 Seconds: 55

Well, where to begin except that Zookie pretty much posted my post..LOL everything was going fine the last 2 months and now all of a sudden, it's like the nicodemon is in my face ALL THE TIME! I wanna say it's because spring is in the air and i used to love to smoke doing yardwork, puttering in garden, riding the lawn mower LOL etc. i quit in the fall so this being my 1st spring/summer smoke free, not too sure how to handle being outside without a butt in my hand. My first 2 1/2 months were pure hell and since then i think ive been doing ok...i just cant beleive that 7 months later i m feeling this way...ive spent the last hour reading the various posts and i KNOW im not alone..i KNOW this is normal...i should of stayed closer to this site last couple of months but now i know...it helps to read other people going through the same thing... Anyway, thanks for listening Just a chick with a 7 month itch...LOL ;) ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/5/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 206 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,223 Amount Saved: $1751 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 15 Mins: 9 Seconds: 42

rnbw... You and Zookie are really making me feel sane now. I have been going through the same thing. Last Friday night, for about 3 hours, I had one of those "kill me now" craves and thought I was going to lose my mind. But we all know that this doesn't last long and that we can make it through as long as we just ride it out. At least it's not like the first 3 weeks. For me I think it was so bad because I haven't really had any serious craves since before Christmas and this one just kind of snuck up on me. Hang in there. At least we don't smoke. If we smoked, we would be craving all the time. Think about it. :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 272 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,448 Amount Saved: $952 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 0 Mins: 8 Seconds: 50

rnbw, You're definitely not alone. Last night, I had a crave I didn't think would ever go away! I don't know what it is, but something is in the air making all of us crave at the same time. I do think it probably has something to do with the seasons. Anyway, no... you're NOT alone! But like all the other craves we've had in the past, this one will go away too. Glad you're here checking in. You always know where you can come if you're having a hard time. Hope things get better for you soon. Crave the Quit! rnb, 7 months is fantastic! You will find every once in awhile that a crave will creep in and knock you off your feet! Pull out those coping mechanisms and hit back! This is normal and will pass. Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
